I was unbelievably happy to leave Swansea again and go to do another ski season with my amazing partner ! #DreamTeam 💪🏽
We did apply very last minute and our choice on where to go was extremely limited if we wanted to earn a half decent wage as a Chalet Host/ Supervisor . When we arrived we did two weeks of training in the beautiful and lively villages of St Anton and StJohnann before we were driven 3 hours to KAPRUN💔.
I don’t mean to sound ungrateful as obviously it is an amazing experience but there are many factors that can affect living somewhere for 5months happily.
As beautiful as Kaprun is and it is next to the beautiful Zell Am See ….
There is NOTHING HERE….
How you don’t want to spend your ski season.
1. In Kaprun
2. With 6 seasonaires in the whole village
3. Doing paperwork
4.Crying everyday
5. Getting phone calls from your manager every 10 minutes
6. Barely skiing and when you do you cry because it’s too cold and your fingers are going to fall off!
7. Working 60+ hours
8. Arguing continuesly with your boyfriend (even though we genuinely never argue)
9. Living in a Dungon (Basement of the Chalet)
10. With one pub – Pavillion which plays Euro Trash louder than being at a live Mikka concert !
Ok I will stop moaning…
But I can’t explain how much of a difference this season has been to my last.
So I’ve handed my notice in (humongous relief!!) and have booked a one way ticket to Thailand with my handsome beast of a boyfriend! ❤️🇹🇭
We are switching up from scrubbing toilets, pots, pans and sick to the beautiful blue island life and we couldn’t be happier! 🌴🌊
I always live by : “If what you are doing isn’t making you happy, only you have the power to change it, you are in complete control of how you life your life so choose the life you want and be happy!”
We are so fortunate that we can choose the life we want, we are in complete control of our destiny!
If you hate your job – QUIT
If you don’t see yourself marrying your partner – Break Up!
If there is somewhere you want to go – GO!
If you are unhappy with any part of your life – Change It!
I honestly believe that you can do anything you want if you put your mind to it and work hard enough! Go after your passion and love the rest of your life!

Very excited for the next chapter of our adventures and just because it hasn’t worked out as we have planned, there is no way we would just quit and go back the life we were getting away from in the first place!
